Men, bust our your favorite rolling-ball Pilot job application pen! Ladies, time to ask for some cash back on your credit cards! Male prostitution might be coming to a Nevada brothel near you!
Shadly Lady Ranch, a Nevada brothel, is one step closer to hiring the state’s first legal male prostitutes.
The state’s health board recently approved urethral testing for men in order to test of sexually transmitted diseases in men. Prior to this male prostitution wasn’t legal because the health board did not have approved method to test male prostitutes for STDs.
Bobbi Davis, owner of Shady Lady Ranch, said of offering male prostitution, “With so many other male revues going on in Vegas, we thought it was time to give this a try.”
Davis still needs county approval before male prostitution can be legalized.
Perhaps this is telling of who my friends are, but I find it interesting that more women I know would consider sex work than any man I know. I consider this especially interesting, when you consider they are all attractive women who could get sex most anywhere if wanted. Men, on the other hand, have to work for it more.
In my head this means women are more likely to be sex workers, but not want their male partner’s too pay for sex, while men would never dare be sex workers, but I would venture to say more than 40 percent or more are willing to pay for sex work, albeit a stripper or prostitute.
If this legalization of male prostitution in Nevada should prevail, it’d be interesting to conduct research and see what professional differences exist among the sexes. After all, if a female author makes more money at a faux male author, what’s to say men’s rates wouldn’t be higher than a woman’s in the sex industry either. I suppose that may differ if you have a pimp or a madam as your employer.
